Contraindications

We cannot treat in case of:
- Cardiac disease
- Pregnancy
- Chemotherapy or radiation
- Skin cancer
- Accutane (wait 6-12 months)
- HIV
- Active skin conditions such as acne (to avoid spread of bacteria), rosacea, infection of any type (eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis/bacterial, viral or fungal)
- Fresh sunburn
- Recent chemical peels, tattoos, fillers (wait at least 2 weeks)

Preparing For You Appointment

Before Your Appointment:
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 24 hours.
- Discontinue retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, and exfoliating treatments 3–5 days prior.
- Stay hydrated and moisturize your skin.
- Avoid blood-thinning medications (aspirin, ibuprofen) unless prescribed.
- Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face.
- Inform us of any recent skin treatments or conditions.
After Your Appointment:
- Expect redness for 24–48 hours.
- Avoid direct sun exposure.
- Use gentle skincare products; avoid harsh exfoliants for a week.
- Stay hydrated and avoid excessive sweating for 48 hours.
- No makeup for at least 24-48 hours post-treatment.
- Allow skin to naturally heal—do not pick or scratch.
For best results, follow aftercare instructions provided at your appointment.
