  • We cannot treat in case of:

    • Cardiac disease
    • Pregnancy
    • Chemotherapy or radiation
    • Skin cancer
    • Accutane (wait 6-12 months)
    • HIV
    • Active skin conditions such as acne (to avoid spread of bacteria), rosacea, infection of any type (eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis/bacterial, viral or fungal)
    • Fresh sunburn
    • Recent chemical peels, tattoos, fillers (wait at least 2 weeks)
  • Preparing For You Appointment

  • Before Your Appointment:
    - Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 24 hours.
    - Discontinue retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, and exfoliating treatments 3–5 days prior.
    - Stay hydrated and moisturize your skin.
    - Avoid blood-thinning medications (aspirin, ibuprofen) unless prescribed.
    - Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face.
    - Inform us of any recent skin treatments or conditions.

    After Your Appointment:
    - Expect redness for 24–48 hours.
    - Avoid direct sun exposure.
    - Use gentle skincare products; avoid harsh exfoliants for a week.
    - Stay hydrated and avoid excessive sweating for 48 hours.
    - No makeup for at least 24-48 hours post-treatment.
    - Allow skin to naturally heal—do not pick or scratch.

    • Bleeding disorders, hemophilia - impairs the body's ability to make blood clots
    • Uncontrolled diabetes
    • Keloid/hypertrophic scaring
    • Severe telangiectasia or spider veins, erythema or bruising (which can be an indication of increased blood flow to the area)
